This is a fantastic opportunity for players born between 2008 and 2011 to showcase their skills in a competitive, fast-paced environment and be considered for future opportunities with any of the PJHL Junior Hockey Clubs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for 2007-2010 born players to showcase their skills in a competitive, fast-paced environment and be considered for future opportunities with the Whalers.
Unlike traditional tryouts, this minimum 4 game round-robin tournament format with championship final places you on a drafted team with a designated coaching staff, where you’ll compete in high-level games that emphasize teamwork, competitive instinct, and performance under pressure.
Camp Details:
Dates: May 30 & 31, 2026
Location: Cloverdale Sports & Ice Complex
Format: Tournament-style camp with players assigned to teams for scheduled practices and games
Times:
May 30: 9:00 AM – 7:45 PM
May 31: 4:45 PM – 10:30 PM
(Individual schedules will be released prior to camp.)
The camp will bring together coaches and hockey operations staff from all PJHL teams in a centralized, tournament-style evaluation setting, designed to identify players who bring skill, character, grit, and hockey IQ—key traits we value in building a successful team.

Centennial Arena, White Rock
Includes Whalers Apparel and 3 Games.
Tournament Style Play
Note: Goaltender position is now filled at the maximum. Names will be put on a waiting list.
Participants will be closely evaluated by Whalers scouting staff, with the potential to earn:
- A paid invitation to the Whalers Spring Prospect Camp in May
- A spot in the Fraser Valley Super League Development Program, where top prospects and returning Whalers players train and compete together in a high-performance environment.
This process is designed to identify players who bring skill, character, grit, and hockey IQ—key traits we value in building a successful team.
