Outlaws Corral Pod, 4-3

The Whalers fired a tremendous amount of vulcanized rubber on the net for a total of 50 shots – but Outlaws goalie Brian Dale earned his spurs.

After the Whalers had controlled the majority of play in overtime and mustered four shots on goal, Sockeye Vincent Thrum’s snap shot from the wing eluded Whalers goalie Daniel Zuvic for the game-winner.

Kodiaks Halt Pod’s ‘W’ Streak, 4-0

The Kodiaks picked up their fourth win of the season due to their physical forecheck and a dynamic powerplay in a 4-0 victory. Goalie Mark Paton nimbly dove all over the crease for a 29-save shut-out win.
