Paterson Inducted into BC Hall of Fame

The BC Hockey Hall of Fame announced today the inductees for the class of 2023.

Included within this amazing list was one of our own, Ronnie Paterson. Ronnie is the current owner of the White Rock Whalers and has been involved within our hockey community for a number of years, along with being a Sockeye Alumni and has been a tremendous builder not only to the Pacific Junior Hockey League and but the game itself. Congratulations to the 2023 B.C. Hockey Hall of Fame induction class.

The BC Hockey Hall of Fame’s annual induction gala is a highly-anticipated event that celebrates and recognizes the contributions of players, coaches, referees, and builders to the sport of hockey in British Columbia, Canada. The event is held annually, usually on the 3rd weekend in July, and brings together hockey enthusiasts, former players, coaches, referees, and builders, as well as members of the media and other dignitaries.

The gala features a ceremony to induct the new members into the Hall of Fame, speeches from the inductees, as well as from other hockey personalities and members of the Hall of Fame.

Throughout the night, guests will have the opportunity to mingle with some of the greatest hockey players, coaches, referees, and builders of all time, and hear their stories and perspectives on the sport. The night will also include a live auction and a silent auction with unique and one-of-a-kind items.

The BC Hockey Hall of Fame’s annual induction gala is a must-attend event for anyone who loves hockey and wants to honour the people who have made the sport what it is today in British Columbia. It is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the inductees and to learn more about the history of the sport in the province.
