The White Rock Whalers are excited to announce a live auction on DASH for their limited edition Hockey Fights Cancer jerseys.
As part of their five home games in November, the Whalers wore their Hockey Fights Cancer jerseys on November 22nd, and they will be wearing them again on November 29th at 7:30 pm – when the Whalers host the Cloverdale Hockey Club.

Last Saturday, November 22nd, the Whalers debuted these jerseys as part of their Hockey Fights Cancer campaign. Prior to puck drop, the Whalers had two of their long-time volunteers, Erin McNally and Lou Fuchs (alongside his granddaughter Morgan) kick off the night with a ceremonial puck drop. Erin and Lou are both cancer survivors, and the Whalers were pleased to welcome them as the team kicked off this game. The jerseys went live on auction right at puck drop, with proceeds going to the Canadian Cancer Society.
The Whalers will be playing in Abbotsford on Friday, November 28th, where they will be participating in Abbotsford’s Hockey Fights Cancer Night. The Abbotsford Pilots will unveil their own Hockey Fights Cancer jerseys to their home crowd on that night, and the Whalers will be their opponent on this special occasion.
This coming Saturday, November 29th, the Whalers will be hosting the Cloverdale Hockey Club at Centennial Arena, with puck drop set for 7:30 pm. This game will be the second Hockey Fights Cancer jersey night for the Whalers, giving fans another opportunity to watch the Whalers sport these special jerseys that are being auctioned off for a great cause.
The jerseys that were worn on November 22nd and November 29th are currently live on DASH auction. This is a great opportunity for Whalers fans to bid on a Whalers game worn jersey, while at the same time supporting an important initiative within the hockey world. The live auction is open now and will close on Sunday, November 30th at 7:30 pm.

42 Braydon Clark | He recently joined the Whalers at the trade deadline. Braydon played with the Western Hockey League’s Prince Albert Raiders and the BCHL’s Merritt Centennials.

9 Davey Moody | The epitome of hard work and an experienced penalty killer who provides a much-needed spark for his teammates game after game.
The newest volunteer, Landon Wolbaum presents Jacob with his #18 Jersey.
18 Jacob Dorohoy | A gritty two-way forward and a vocal leader on the ice. During his two seasons with the Pod and last year’s playoff run, Jacob scored 37 goals and 22 assists.

21 Cam Newson | An original Whaler from the expansion 2018 season. He returned to the Pod after enrolling in university. The veteran defenceman has 11 goals and 31 assists during his four years.

62 Cole Svendson | “Big Goal” Cole has been a dominant offensive presence since his first day as a Whaler and does his talking on the scoresheet with 82 goals and 46 assists in his four seasons, including playoffs.

7 Bryce Margetson | An original Whaler from the inaugural 2018 season. A defensive stalwart, he has scored 22 goals and 62 assists with the Pod.

16 Zach Sherwin | He has played four seasons for the Pod. Zach has had a breakout offensive year – ranked second in league scoring 69 goals and 90 assists.

19 Chris Fortems | White Rock captain has been Mr. Dependable in lighting the lamp. The 22/23 PJHL leader in scoring has a career total of 59 goals and 172 assists (231 points including playoffs) with the Pod.
