The Whalers had some time off as they awaited the winner of the other semi-finals matchup between the Surrey Knights and the Mission City Outlaws.
Both teams had a day off to reset before a pivotal game four in Cloverdale on Monday night. Despite battling until the very end in game three,
Game one of this round two matchup had a little bit of almost everything, with the Whalers battling their way back to an epic and thrilling 8-7 overtime win.
The Whalers’ 44th (final) regular season game was the “Whalers Grad Night”, where the organization celebrated the junior hockey careers of their three 20-year old players.
The league’s Harold Brittain Conference whittled eight teams down to four in the first round, with the White Rock Whalers sweeping the Aldergrove Ironmen 4-0, winning their games 11-1, 9-1, 10-0, and 7-1.
The White Rock Whalers finished their season at the top of the Harold Brittain Conference with 74 points, 34 wins, four losses, two overtime losses, and four shootout losses in one of their best — if not the best — seasons.
The PJHL Winter Showcase will feature teams from the Brittan Conference, including our newest franchise, the Cloverdale Junior Hockey Club. Games will take place at the New Cloverdale Sports & Ice Complex from December 27 – 30, 2025.
As part of their five home games in November, the Whalers wore their Hockey Fight Cancer jerseys on November 22nd, and they will be wearing them again on November 29th at 7:30 pm
